Description of SRC

Stockholm Run Club is a welcoming community founded in 2021 that brings people together through movement, connection, and a shared love for the city. Blending social energy with a passion for running, the club offers a space where locals and visitors alike can experience Stockholm beyond the typical paths.

What started as a small initiative has grown into one of Sweden’s largest running communities, bringing together people from all over the world—moving in rhythm, driven by energy, and connected through a shared experience.

Whether it’s a social run or a tough interval session, the focus is on inclusivity, exploration, and the joy of being active together. Whether you run for time or for the feeling, SRC is a place where you belong.

Running sessions with SRC

Throughout the week, pacers from Stockholm Run Club will lead running sessions in the beautiful scenery of Bad Gastein. As our main goal with this trip is to foster a strong sense of community, the runs will be planned to suit everyone’s pace and fitness level, encouraging conversation, connection, and enjoyment. Be prepared for some trail running and breathtaking landscapes!

Alpine Hiking

During the week, three days of alpine hiking are on the schedule. Together, we’ll explore new and spectacular locations each day, with regular stops to take in the stunning views, spot wildlife and plants, or listen to the guide’s stories about the surroundings. For many, the highlight of the day is the delicious lunch enjoyed together at one of the region’s charming mountain huts.

All our hikes are led by experienced guides who take the time to get to know the group and adapt the pace accordingly.

Canvas & Cava

One afternoon, we’ll enjoy a creative and relaxing moment with a canvas, paints, brushes, and a glass of sparkling wine (or a non-alcoholic alternative). Let your artistic side flow freely, inspired by the magical views of the Alps.

Comfortable stay at Hotel Eden Rock***+

In Bad Gastein, we stay comfortably at the modern Hotel Eden Rock, beautifully located in the heart of the village with views over the Gastein Valley. The hotel offers excellent facilities, and on the ground floor you’ll find what is perhaps the village’s most popular restaurant, the Italian Restaurant Angelo. This is also where the large breakfast buffet is served each morning. During the week, delicious three-course dinners are served at a nearby restaurant in the village.
